Like
other insurance policies Payment Protection Insurance policies
will usually include a number of conditions or exclusions
that prevents you from claiming on the insurance policy. You
have to make sure that you understand which specific illnesses
are not covered by the policy.
You
may even not be eligible to take out a policy in the
first place. If you work less than sixteen hours every
week or if you are aware that you might be made redundant.
If you are in any doubt ask your insurance company to
explain the exclusions and any eligibility conditions.
Make sure that you understand the exclusions before
you buy the payment protection insurance.
